I stayed at Lakeside where I found the rooms to be fairly close to the main lodge and well-appointed, but really too small for our family. The service was less than friendly and helpful, more like they were on autopilot. The location was beautifully maintained in a beach setting, allowing for a peaceful stay on this coast. The dining experience was amazing, but if you're thinking of ordering the chicken wings, don't bother.

The hotel was packed wall-to-wall with children and parents due to the restaurant's limited evening hours from 6-8 PM, which made dining all happen at the same time. The rooms, while not fancy, were equipped with a fridge and microwave, great for traveling with a child. However, the hotel's location was ideal for exploring Nova Scotia's sights and enjoying the ocean views.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, located in the lakeside retreat section of the resort with a lovely view of the ocean. The rooms were really warm, although a bit dark as they are located in the oldest part of the resort. We preferred to eat on the restaurant patio in the evening. The service was excellent and friendly, but I did notice some issues with rudeness and lack of attention. The location was simply breathtaking, offering stunning views of the white sand and ocean from almost every vantage point. The dining options were tasty overall, but there were some hits and misses. The facilities were great, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
